PSAT 8/9
Next Administration Date: Friday, April 4, 2025 at 9:00 AM
The PSAT 8/9 takes 2 hours and 14 minutes and consists of 2 sections: (1) the Reading and Writing section, and (2) the Math section. Most of the questions are multiple choice, though some of the math questions ask you to type in the answer rather than select it. You should bring your own device to the exam room. You may request a device - provided we have one available. Please email: info@torontostemschool.com to arrange for a rental in advance.
On the test day please bring:
Laptop/tablet/chromebook fully charged with your charger
Pen/pencil
Calculator
A picture ID (student card, passport, etc.)
Water bottle with no stickers attached
Snacks (optional)
We WILL provide you with a sign-in ticket and scrap paper. No need to bring any paper of any kind—if you do, it will be taken away!
Doors will open at 8:30 AM. We'll start at 9:00 AM. Students will finish before 11:30 AM.
You need to download Bluebook. A complete guide to the PSAT and using Bluebook is available here.
The fee includes Collegeboard’s exam fee and our administration fees. We will email you your ticket a few days after you enroll.
